On a cold, grey January day in 1987, two friends in Stockholm took an unusually long lunch break—not out of laziness, but driven by passion. After 49 failed prototypes, they were ready to test the Zalt prototype No. 50. The goal: a completely new type of lure for big pike.With coats flapping in the wind and icy air cutting through, they stood at the pier near the National Museum. And then—euphoria. The lure ran perfectly. That was the moment Zalt was born.
